CREAF is seeking a technical coordinator for scientific activities of the SEVERO OCHOA project, with ref. CEX2023-001340-S, funded by Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades and Agencia Estatal de Investigación.
A full-time contract is offered (37.5 hours per week), with a planned start date of January 2026. The position will last at least until March 2027, with the possibility of extension if required and if the budget allows. The offered salary is 31,875.90 gross per year (corresponding to category A4A).
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
The selected candidate will join the Pre-Award Unit team at CREAF, act as a liaison with the Post-Award Unit, and collaborate with close coordination with various cross-cutting Research Management services. Special consideration will be given to candidates who demonstrate a strong willingness to speak in public and to travel occasionally.
The main responsibilities of the position will be:
Support the unit in identifying and disseminating competitive funding opportunities.
Assist research staff in preparing proposals for competitive calls.
Support the management and processing of applications to competitive calls.
Contribute to promoting the participation of research groups in competitive projects.
Prepare and review documentation related to the submission of amendments and other formal requirements of the calls.
Support the generation and updating of indicators for the Pre-Award Unit.
Prepare support materials for competitive calls, especially at the national and regional levels.
Assist research groups with individualized prospecting of funding opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
A university degree, preferably in life sciences.
Languages: Catalan C1, Spanish, advanced spoken and written English (demonstrable).
Computer skills (minimum Office package).
ASSESSABLE CONDITIONS:
Master’s degree related to environmental sciences.
Additional training on national, European, and international research funding programs.
Experience in performing similar tasks in research centres or universities.
Experience managing public-private funding programs.

SELECTION PROCESS AND CRITERIA:
